I will share my Top 10 list of best Anime shows in this blog. If you are into anime, you must have seen a lot of shows, as I have, and out of those many, many shows, a few still stand as my favorites—shows that are evergreen and still the best. Here are my picks for the 10 best anime that still entertain me. The list is in no particular order or ranking.

1. Neon Genesis Evangelion (1995)

Neon Genesis Evangelion is a groundbreaking classic that revolutionized the mecha genre. It’s a complex and thought-provoking show that explores themes such as identity, religion, and mental illness. The animation is top-notch, and the characters are some of the most memorable in Japanese entertainment history.

2. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (2009)

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is a faithful adaptation of the Fullmetal Alchemist manga, and it’s widely considered one of the best anime shows ever made. 4. Cowboy Bebop (1998)

Cowboy Bebop is a stylish and unique blend of sci-fi, western, and noir. It follows a group of bounty hunters as they travel through space in their spaceship, the Bebop. The show is known for its great characters, catchy soundtrack, and iconic visuals.

Hunter x Hunter is an excellent piece of work from the shonen genre with a large cast of characters, exciting action sequences, and a lot of heart. It follows a young boy named Gon Freecss as he travels the world to become a Hunter, a licensed professional who takes on dangerous jobs. Hunter x Hunter is praised for its well-rounded characters, world-building, and balance of action and comedy.

7. Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion (2006)

Code Geass is a mecha show with a complex, well-written story, memorable characters, and epic battles. It follows Lelouch vi Britannia, a prince of the Holy Britannian Empire who is exiled to Japan. Lelouch gains a supernatural power known as Geass, which allows him to give anyone an absolute order. He uses this power to start a rebellion against Britannia and liberate Japan.

8. Steins;Gate (2011)

Steins;Gate is a sci-fi show about a group of friends who accidentally invent time travel. 10. Violet Evergarden (2018)

Violet Evergarden is a beautiful and heartwarming show about a young woman who works as an “Auto Memory Doll,” writing letters for people who are unable to do so themselves. Violet is a former soldier who was traumatized by her experiences in the war. She works as an Auto Memory Doll in order to learn what it means to have emotions and to find her place in the world. Violet Evergarden is praised for its stunning visuals, its emotional story, and its well-developed characters.

This list is not exhaustive, and these are just a few of the many great anime shows out there, like Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer, Naruto, etc. If you’re new to anime, I highly recommend checking out some of the above shows. You won’t regret it!
